Happy New Year!

I hope your year is off to a great start. My wish for all of us at the start of this year is that we can give ourselves grace to let go of any unrealistic expectations, permission to modify goals that aren’t working, and room to choose any date (not just January 1st) to dream big and set goals. Sometimes I have to remind myself that January 1st is just a date on the calendar.

I wanted to start this year off with something fun and celebratory so today I’m sharing a free download! (You can download the cards pictured above by clicking the button below). I hope these journaling cards help you document New Year’s eve, the new year, or just about anything you might be celebrating :) Enjoy! Thank you so much for being here and for all of the support here, in my shop, and/or on social media. Truly, every like, share, purchase, video view, means the world to me. If you’re reading this I’m sending you a big virtual hug!

I can’t wait to share about what’s coming to the shop this year, but today I wanted to briefly look back at 2022. There were a lot of personal highlights from 2022 (like welcoming our sweet baby girl, Amada Amelia, in July!). I mean, nothing can top that, but I still thought I’d share a a couple of creative/business highlights from this year.

  • In July I opened my shop!! I released my first digital collection in The Paper Lane Shop in October and then released my first Holiday collection with releases in November and December. I can’t tell you how exciting those releases were and how good it felt to open my shop! I’ve been memory keeping since Middle School and even though I earned a degree in graphic design I truly never thought it would lead me to designing memory keeping products. It has been so rewarding and I’m so glad that so many of you have been enjoying the releases as well!
  • I released two classes with Big Picture Classes: Travel Journaling on the Go, and Holiday Album Simplified Both classes were a labor of love. In “Travel Journaling on the Go” I actually shared my process while we were on vacation in Yellowstone. It was a really fun way to capture my process. And in Holiday Album Simplified I was trying something new when I started my holiday album from the previous year with very little to go on. I shared how I simplified the process so I could create an entire holiday album in a short amount of time.

I’ll admit, the list looks short, but wow was there a lot that went into what could be summed up in two short bullet points :) If you’ve been here for any/all of it, again I just want to say thank you!!

I’m looking forward to the year ahead and I hope you are too!
