As I was cleaning up my desk the other day I realized that there’s a small handful of things that I’ve been reaching for pretty often lately, so I thought I’d share what they are in a monthly favorites video!
If I have enough favorites at the end of each month I just might make this a regular thing! :)
> Absorber Shammy
> Uniball Signo .38mm pen
> July 2018 Studio Calico Traveler’s Notebook
> Citrus Twist Kits die cuts (part of the July 2018 Documenter Kit)
> Summer by Banana Fish Studio Stamp Set
Some of my other crafting favorites can be found HERE!

Hello, and happy Friday!
Today I’m so excited to share a flipthrough of a completed Traveler’s Notebook with you!
About one month after Felicity was born I started thinking about how I wanted to document her stories. I really liked the idea of documenting in a Traveler’s Notebook because each page can be as involved or as simple as you’d like. For me, the most important thing was to get some photos off my phone and into a book where I could journal about what was going on. These are details I definitely don’t want to forget!
I think a lot of times we get caught up in the idea of making a “perfect” baby album, or making sure we write down each and every detail, but for me its not about making something fancy (at least for now, ha!). I may one day decide to take a bunch of photos and make a special digital album, but for now this is what’s working and I’m going with it :)
For a full flipthrough of this notebook you can check out the video below! :)
Hello, hello! Happy 4th of July!
Today I’m up on the Citrus Twist Kits blog sharing a fun Traveler’s Notebook foldout complete with a process video! You can find all of the details, here. This has become such a fun way for me to add more photos and journaling into my TN. If you haven’t done something like this before I hope you’ll give it a try!
Well, I have one more fun announcement for this week . . . :)
I’m so happy to announce that I’ve joined the amazing Citrus Twist Kits design team!! I’ve been a huge fan of Citrus Twist Kits for years now. I used to scroll through their Instagram feed in awe of all of the amazing projects that their design team was putting together. If you need some crafty inspiration, I totally recommend checking it out! I’m super humbled that I get to share my own projects in the coming months, and I can’t wait!
Today I’m sharing a Traveler’s Notebook spread that I put together using the July Pocket Life Kit, Main Kit, and a couple of the new stamp sets that were released this month (Daily Routine and Conversation Starters). All products can be found here.I quickly fell in love with this die cut pack from Pink Fresh Studio, and that stamp set is definitely going to get a lot of use!
Below is a process video in case you’d like to see how it all came together!
I’ve been trying to think of how I should start my first blog post after quite a break, but to be honest, I think that’s what has been holding me back from posting for a little while.
So instead of trying to figure out how to start this post, I’m just going to jump right in with a fun announcement and a couple of fun projects!
I’m so excited to announce that I’ve joined the Studio Calico creative team! Honestly, this has been such a dream come true. As a long-time subscriber to the SC kits and being a big time fan of ALL their products I’m so grateful to have an opportunity to work with a brand that I love so much!
Clicking the photo below will take you to the announcement on the Studio Calico website where you can click through to check out the other ladies that make up this awesome team!
I’m looking forward to sharing lots of projects in the coming months, but today I wanted to share my documenter layouts using this month’s Great Escape Documenter kit. I’ll be back on Tuesday to share the projects I put together using the brand new Traveler’s Notebook kit (spoiler alert: the kit is AMAZING!).
The colors in this month’s kit are so bright and fresh, perfect for documenting all the summer details!
If you’d like to purchase your own documenter kit, or any of the new goodies that are being released in July, you can find them here.
